The Artist
I'm a visual artist based in London creating unique abstract artworks infused with energy. I have a degree in Fine Art and Art History from Goldsmiths and my work has appeared in galleries across the capital.
I blend primary colours in flowing brushstrokes to create vibrant intertwining shapes made up of unpredictable colour combinations, often the entire spectrum. I am inspired by the colours and patterns of nature and the incredible connection between the smallest and largest scales. I often imagine the burst of energy that created the universe and the birth of stars - intricate networks of dust and gas coming together and collapsing on themselves to form the first lights in the darkness. When confronted by something so much greater than ourselves we feel a sense of awe, but the sublime can also induce feelings of wellbeing. Through my work I try to evoke that unique feeling of being humbled by our role within something much larger than ourselves. That we are a significant part of a purposeful unfolding of life in our universe.
